Interfaces for Legacy Systems Services
For any supply chain technology project, timely, professional
systems integration is a lynchpin of success. The service
options available from CatalystConnect ERP enable customers
to share WMS transaction data among multiple systems,
including ERP systems such as SAP R/3, Oracle Applications
or JD Edwards; enterprise systems such as JDA, Lawson,
or Retek; or other systems for Order and Transportation
Management. Whatever linkages are required, Catalyst consultants
are an invaluable resource for reducing risk and keeping
supply chain execution projects on-time and on-budget.
A Collaborative, Proven Methodology
From the start of the engagement, the Catalyst project
team works hand-in-hand with the customer's IT staff to
define which host communications transactions must be
linked to provide a total supply chain solution. We discuss
how to execute standard product transactions, define their
fields and explain when they will be triggered. For Oracle
Applications and SAP R/3, we offer high-performance standard
interfaces to our CatalystCommand™
applications. For all other enterprise systems, we have
a standard host communications interface, which we will
customize as needed.
Our time-tested, standard host communications interface
protocol most often will be all a customer needs to satisfy
business requirements. When these requirements extend
beyond what’s typically covered through standard
transactions, we collaborate with the customer’s
IT staff to determine the most efficient strategy for
implementing custom interfaces. |
