Modular Implementation and Upgrade Services
In today’s time-sensitive marketplace, companies can’t afford to take any risks when implementing supply chain execution technology. Catalyst greatly reduces these risks through CIMPL, our collaborative, results-driven approach to planning and implementation.

We take the time upfront to clearly define the strategies and processes necessary for customers’ success. We work closely with IT and warehouse personnel to make sure our solutions will address their priority needs, and, just as important, will easily integrate with their processes, systems and equipment. We establish performance measures closely aligned with their business goals. And we provide expert training and dedicated personnel to ensure we hit our agreed-upon performance targets.

Each project team is headed by a business manager and employs “agile” techniques to expedite software development and keep everything on schedule. On average, Catalyst’s implementations are completed within 2% of the projected time quoted to customers.

Here’s how CIMPL works.
Step #1: Project Kickoff
Catalyst develops an understanding of customers’ business operations and project objectives. Specific roles and responsibilities – for both Catalyst and customer personnel – are assigned and an implementation timeline is created.
Step #2: Business Requirements Focus
Catalyst team members go to the customer site to gain an in-depth understanding of the business, its operational requirements and its key supply chain performance goals. Business scenarios are created that detail how Catalyst solutions will address each of the priority business requirements.
Step #3: Conference Room Pilot
After the initial training and business scenario development, Catalyst conducts a Conference Room Pilot (CRP). This focuses on a prototype we build to demonstrate exactly how the system will work in a customer’s distribution center.
Here, the hands-on work begins. Catalyst configures the software according to customer needs, strategies and scenarios to ensure that it precisely fits into its operations. The CRP provides a unique opportunity to uncover potential operational problems, which can be resolved prior to installation.
Step #4: System Development
Catalyst assists the customer’s team with hardware and peripheral selection, as well as with finalizing site preparation at its distribution center. System functionality is checked and re-checked, at Catalyst and/or the customer facility.
Step #5: Installation
On-site installation
The Catalyst team sets up and tests the system, verifying all system parameters, RF and voice communications, and connectivity between the host computer and Catalyst WMS.
On-site acceptance training
Final testing is performed with customer personnel, using its data and business scenarios. This demonstration shows how the test version affects real equipment, real people and real operations. For some customers, we even videotape the sessions to assist with future employee training.
Training
Catalyst provides extensive, hands-on instruction for customers, supported by easy-to-understand documentation explaining each system function.
System startup
Catalyst personnel stay on-site and monitor start-up and operation through the early, critical days.
The Result
With CIMPL, customers can count on having a system up and running according to plan and bottom-line results faster than they ever thought possible.
